The site is designed to provide reliable and concise information about this health condition and its treatment in a format that is easy to understand.

Live news and twitter feeds are provided to give you the very latest news and views on the condition. These carry the date that they were published to give you some idea of just how old the stories are. Many will have been published today or yesterday.

The site also features products that are relevent to the condition and a number of recipes for healthy living.

We hope you enjoy this site and find it of some use.

Techie time

The site as been built using a number of different APIs (Application Progrrammer Interface - a particular set of rules ('code') and specifications that software programs can follow to communicate with each other). The site features REST and SOAP, the use of JQuery, Google Search and one or two other technologies.

Almost all of the site has been constructed using high quality external content. The site was build mainly to see what can be achieved using current API freely available to the general public.

This site is not complete, not by a long way. There are a load of really cool APIs coming available and some of these will definitely be added to the next version.

Bugs

Lots of them at the moment, particularly in the Amazon section and search is still a little flakey, site map is rubbish. These will be corrected as soon as we can find the time. Currently the content is far superior to the code used to present it! Apologies for this.
